responsible for coordinating the efforts of the development team to ensure
the timely delivery of a AAA-quality videogame. This responsibility includes
managing the day-to-day project schedule and communicating the current
status of the project with team leads and senior management staff. The
project manager is also responsible for coordinating and synchronizing
development schedules across departments and shared resources. When
necessary, the Project Manager will work with the senior team staff to
refine the scope of the project to accommodate the goals of the franchise
and to meet the delivery deadline.
Qualified candidates will have a CS or CSE degree. Preference to
candidates with a MBA or project management certification. Additionally,
demonstrated experience managing extremely complicated projects including
determining project viability, establishing project plan and budget, and
identifying resource requirements. Understanding of project management
methodology and tools as well as the phases of production including
development process, workflow issues, and inter-team requirements.
Qualified candidates must possess excellent organizational, verbal and
written communication skills. Furthermore, must be an excellent problem
solver and have a demonstrated history of working on complex problems where
analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
3+ years of programming experience using C++.
2+ years of project management experience.
