Position Title: Sr. Graphics Programmer

THE JOB:

Research cutting-edge rendering techniques. Work with Programmers, Technical Directors, Development Directors, QA Testers to game project production staff.

Develop technical design specification, implementation and test plans. Program core rendering engine components to required coding standards. Test, debug and revise new or legacy engine systems. Profile, performance-analysis, performance tuning. Provide mentorship to less senior programmers and contribute innovative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development.

The ideal candidate would have experience working in large cutting-edge engine technology systems and the ability to design, plan and program complex engine components, especially in the area of graphics. The candidate must also exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of understanding towards game technology production and an adaptability to meet the needs of multiple projects utilizing common technology. The candidate will also have:

DESIRED SKILLS

Experience in the design and implementation of cutting edge graphics techniques, hardware and API's. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering. 5+ years experience in advance C++/OOP architecture design and implementation. 3+ years experience in game programming

Experience in low-level programming especially in the area of graphics hardware and shader/vector programming. Experience and a high level of understanding in the field of advanced 3D mathematics and 3D graphics. Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Self-motivation and a passion for video games. The desire to be a team player. Direct3D, OpenGL experience
